				<description><![CDATA[ [u][color=red][b]Ans 1.[/b][/color][/u]  Yes, it's possible when the acceleration and velocity both are in the negative direction.<br />&nbsp;In this case, let the acceleration be towards the negative x-axis and the the velocity also in the same direction. In that case the speed will increase.<br /> <br />&nbsp;[u][color=red][b]Ans 2.[/b][/color][/u] In this case, assume the velocity and acceleration to be in the opposite directions. I mean to say assume that the acceleration of the body is in positive x-direction and let the initial velocity of the particle be in negative x-direction.
